This 2-door hatchback had enough room to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. The compact size of this car made it a good choice for heavy traffic conditions; moreover it had a turning radius of 3.5 meters, which made it compatible for maneuvering in all conditions. This first model was in production till 2007.
Reva i was introduced following Reva in 2008. This eco-friendly car was designed to offer efficient performance on the road.
Though it looks compact from the outside, it does offer a spacious interior in its class, thus ensuring good comfort during a long city drive for 50-60kms. The rear seats are designed in such a way that they can be folded to accommodate extra luggage.
On a single charge, Reva i can travel up to 80 kms without compromising on performance. It is equipped with a strong 48V lead acid battery, which churns out maximum power of 48V, and maximum torque of 52 Nm. The complete charging time for the battery is 8 hours.
Reva L-ion was a new model that was launched by RECC in 2009.
This model was exactly similar to Reva-i, but was equipped with lithium-ion batteries with high performance. This helped in reducing the curb weight of the car to 565 kg, offering greater acceleration, and reducing the charging time to 6 hours.
NXR was unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. This new M class vehicle can work with lithium-ion as well as lead acid batteries.
It comes with exceptional features like the new REVive battery charging system and Telematic remote access to the on-board Energy Management System of the car.
